Brief History of Camera
The camera has been a huge part of everyone’s life. Capturing moments with your loved ones. Just like taking the first photo of your child, birthdays celebrations, and any FIRST moment in anyone’s life. But did you know that camera was invented way back in the middle ages? Amazing right? A physicist named Ibn Al-Haytham (Alhazen) discovered the idea of Camera Obscura (Camera Obscura is Latin for “Dark Chamber”) that has brought him to create the first pinhole camera. Camera Obscura, in other words, is reproducing an image with color and perspective preserved. While on the other part of the world, A french scientist Nicéphore Niépce said to develop the first permanent photographic image by placing an engraving into a metal plate coated in bitumen and exposing it to light. The image, known as a sun print, developed after immersing the metal plate in a solvent. Even though the image faded with time, it is still considered the first photographic image.
